Dear Bill,
N' s 3 I am writing to confirm the Moneoe County Library System's desire to obtain all Fermi I documents. These documents are on important part of the history of nuclear power and Monroe County.
Researchers requesting the documents feel the study of Fermi I documents may prove worthwhile fcc the success of not only Fermi 11 but of other plants throughout the nation.
Over the years, requests for Fetcmi I documents have been maden We have replied that these documents were not availabic.
Ihtpuan of an increase of interest and questions, it in mandatory th.at we request to house Fermi I documents.
They would be housed'at the Ellis Reference and Information Center. As the local LPDR for Fermi II documents, it is logical'that the Fermi I documents also be located in this building.
We will be happy tc accept the Fermi I documents in any format easiest for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to provide them.
In other words, fiche, film, or paper copy will be acceptable and will be given appropriate space in the library.
