i i l In the process of looking through our files, we have discovered a Safety i Evaluation (SE) which apparently was never issued. The SE summarires our l review of the FitzPatrick Main Steam Isolation Valve Leakage Control System l (MSIVLCS) design, which was submitted by letter dated September 22, 1976.

The SE concludes that the MSIVLCS design conforms to General Design

! Criteria 2, 4 and 54 of Appendix A to 10 CFR 50 and is therefore j acceptable. I 1

A copy of the subject SE is enclosed. The proposed Technical Specifications  :
