Martin Vice President Engineering and Construction 80 Park Plaza - 17C Newark, New Jersey 07101 Dear Mr. Martin On' October 28, 1985, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Region I Office received the attached allegation regarding activities at' the Hope Creek Generating Station.. The allegers indicated that copies of the letter have been sent to various persons, including the President of Public Service Electric and Gas Company. I request that you' provide me with your plan, including schedule, for evaluating this concern.
It is further requested that you provide the results of your investigation and proposed corrective action, if warranted, to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission upon completion of your investigation.
