An inspection was conducted by Mr. W. Lazarus of this office on October 21-23,
and November 8, 1985 at the Millstone Unit 3 Nuclear Power Station, Waterford,
Areas examined during this inspection included follow-up of findings from the
Emergency Plan Implementation Appraisal (50-423/85-39), and are described in
the NRC Region I Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within
these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures
'and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations of the~
inspectors.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified and no
response to this letter is necessary.
