. Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station - Withdrawal of Amendment Request Scuth Carolina Electric and Gas Company (SCE&G) by letters from Mr. O. W.
Dixon, Jr., (SCE&G) to Mr. H. R. Denton (NRC) dated August 30, September 18, and October 16, 1985, requested a revision to the Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station Technical Specifications tc allow for specific alternatives to tube plugging in the steam generators. Based on the results of eddy-current testing performed during the present refueling outage, SCE&G determined that the amendment was not necessary and withdrew the request by letter dated October 25, 1985.
This is to inform you that due to SCE&G's advance telephone notification of withdrawal on October 22, 1985, the notice enclosed in our letter of October 21, 1985, was not published in the Federal Register.
If you have any questions, contact the Project Manager assigned to your plant.
