Dear Mr. Ray:
Subj ect: NRC Examinations at San Onofre Unit 1 On July 9-10, 1985, the NRC administered examinations to employees of your San Onofre Nuclear Generation Station, Unit 1.
As a result of these examinations, two candidate were found to meet the minimum qualifications for licensing.
At the conclusion of the examinations on July 9, 1985, the examination process and preliminary findings were discussed with members of your staff as detailed in the enclosed report.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and enclosures (1) and (2) will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room unless you notify i
this office by telephone within ten days of the date of this letter and l
submit written application to withhold information contained therein within thirty days of the date of this letter. Such application must be consistent l
with the requirements of 2.790(b)(1). Enclosure (3) is personal Privacy Information and will be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 9.5(a)(6).
