POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 The Point Beach Nuclear Plant Radiological Effluent Technical i
Specifications (RETS) require the establishment and maintenance of an Off-Site Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM) and Process Control Program (PCP) . Notifications of changes to the ODCM, including j changes to the Point Beach Environmental Manual, and the PCP are l
required to be identified in the Semiannual Monitoring Report for the period in which the changes are made. To facilitate the implementation of the Point Beach RETS, which became effective on October 10, 1985, revisions were made to our PCP, ODCM, and Environmental Manual during the last six months of 1985. Because these revisions are extenaive and likely could not be effectively identified in our Semiannual Monitoring Report,.we are forwarding i a complete copy of each document. Enclosed are revised copies of the ODCM, PCP, and Environmental Manual for the Point Beach Nuclear Plant.
The enclosed ODCM replaces our submittal of January 21, 1985.
The ODCM has been revised to include-an administrative section which identifies program responsibilities. Tables 5-1 and 5-2.
have been expanded to' include dose conversion factors and dose equivalent weighting factors for all isotopes commonly identified in Point Beach effluents.

Denton January 20, 1986 Page 2 Members of your staff recommended certain modifications of our October 7, 1983 PCP submittal during a RETS meeting conducted at your Bethesda offices on October 11, 1984. In response, our PCP has been rewritten to include a-relatively brief summary of our waste handling practices and philosophies. The revised PCP and ODCM have been now classified as major plant procedures and, therefore, have been designated as Revision 0.
The Point Beach Environmental Manual, which is included in the ODCM by reference, has been revised to include sampling and analyses provisions required by RETS.
Provided under separate cover are nine additional copies of the enclosures. Should you have any questions related to this submittal, please contact us.
