NIAGARA M0 HAWK POWER CORPORATION NINE MILE POINT - UNIT 2 DOCKET NO. 50-410 Interim Report for a Problem Concerning Clearance Violations with Platform Framing Steel and Primary Containment (55(e)-85-30)

Description of the Problem Three clearance violations between structural steel framing and primary containment wall were identified by Nonconformance and Disposition Report No.

14015.

Drawing ES-53V-4 shows a 3-in. clearance between the wall and the steel members to allow displacement from loadings resulting from seismic events and thermal growth.

This matter is under investigation and a final report will be submitted by February 15, 1986.
