Braidwood Nuclear Power Station Material Traceability Verification (MTV) Program Testing of All Identified Replacement Items 10 CFR 50.55(e) 83-07 NRC Docket Nos. 50-456/457
Dear Mr. Keppler:
On June 25, 1985, Commonwealth Edison Company personnel met with you and members of your staff to discuss the results of our Material Traceability Verification (MTV) Program.
At the conclusion of our presentation you made some comments regarding material testing which Commonwealth Edison might perform, related to those piping installation items which were planned for replacement.
Based on your comments, we met with Mr. Bill Little, Mr. Jay Harrison and other members cf your staf f, on August 1, 1985, to discuss the potential testing of piping items planned for replacement.
As a result of the meeting with your staff,.it was agreed that Commonwealth Edison will perform testing on all of the items identified for replacement under the MTV Program.
Further, we agreed upon a test methodology to be followed utilizing the services of an independent testing laboratory.
We assure you that members of your staff will be kept appraised of the status of this testing program.
