We have completed our review of the "Seabrook Station Physical Security Plan for the Protection of Nuclear Material of Low Strategic Significance," which you submitted as Attachment 8 to your letter dated August 1, 1985 (your reference #SBN-854).

We have determined that the Security Plan specified above meets the requirements of 10 CFR 73.67 for fixed site and in-transit protection of special nuclear material of low strategic significance. Accordingly, your Plan is hereby approved and must be fully implemented, including any changes made pursuant to the authority of 10 CFR 70.32(e), by the date of initial fuel receipt.

We have also determined that Attachment B (i.e., your Security Plan) to your letter dated August 1, 1985 contains information of the type specified in 10 CFR 2.790(d). Accordingly, pursuant to Section 2.790(d)(1), such information is deemed to be commercial or financial within the meaning of 10 CFR 9.5(a)(4) and shall be withheld from public disclosure unless subject to the provisions of 10 CFR 9.12.
