'01 REPORT 4-95-015; RE: AILURE TO PERFORM RESPONSE CHECKS AT FT. ST. VRAIN i

The above captioned O! report involves the deliberate failure by an employee  !

of Scientific Ecology Group (SEG) to perform daily response checks on a l portable contamination monitor at Ft. St. Vrain. 01 concluded that the employee deliberately failed to perform the response checks in accordance with procedures. Therefore, it appears that enforcement action is appropriate in this case.

In view of the current enforcement action involving the same licensee and contractor (EAs95-110 and 95-164) and the fact that SEG already discussed the instant case at the enforcement conference conducted on August 29, 1995 in Region IV, I do not intend to schedule a separate 3-week meeting on this matterbutwillinsteadincludeitinthecurrentongoingcase.
