Dear Mr. Hunter:
l On June 27, 1985, we verbally notified your Mr. S. Phillips of a deficiency regarding the containment spray pump that may not pennit the pump to perform its intended safety functions under the specified plant conditions due to a change in the specification not being incorporated by the pump vendor.
We submitted an interim report dated July 26, 1985.
l We have completed our investigation ~ and concluded that the matter is l
not reportable under 10CFR50.55(e). Records supporting this i
l determination are available for your inspector's review at the CPSES l
site.
