Technical Specification (TS) change which would permit the inboard high l
pressure coolant injection (HPCI) steam line isolation valve (E41-F002) isolation time to be increased from 50 to 55 seconds.

We have reviewed your evaluation and justification provided in your submittals and find them acceptable. This letter will confirm the verbal granting of a temporary waiver of compliance to change the valve isolation time to 55 seconds as indicated in the enclosed TS page. This waiver of compliance will be in effect until September 4,1985, while we complete the processing of your amendment request.
