I am replying to the request made in your E-mail of February 5, 1997.
In your E-mail, you requested a copy of the seismic hazard report recently submitted r
by the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) licensee to the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
I have enclosed a copy of this report, which was-forwarded to the NRC by the licensee in a letter dated January 14, 1997. Usually, the staff requests members of the public obtain documents such as his from the local public document room. The reason that I am sending you this copy is that the information in this report is closely related to the i
subject of your petition, and it was submitted on the docket after your 2.206 s
petition had been acknowledged by the NRC.
It is the staff's policy that all letters and documents generated as a result of a 2.206 petition be provided to t
the petitioner to the extent possible, unless proprietary information is involved.
Consistent with'the policy of providing the petitioner with all information relevant to. the petition, the staff, in a letter dated February 3,1997, requested the SONGS licensee to include you (through your lawyer) on all correspondence to the NRC' pertaining.to your petition. A copy of the February 3,1997,. letter was forwarded,to you, through your lawyer.
