Dear Mr. Spangenberg:
This letter requests Illinois Power Company to provide a copy of the "Clinton Power Station, Unit 1, Physical Protection Plan for Special Nuclear Material" to the Clinton NRC Resident Inspector Office. This information is required to support inspection of your activities concerning receipt and storage of new fuel. The information requested is classified as 10 CFR 2.790 " Safeguards" information and will be controlled by the resident inspectors as such.
Should you require any additional'information concerning this request, please contact Mr. T. P. Gwynn of my staff at the Clinton Resident Office. The requested information is required prior to your receipt of new fuel.
