REQUESTED EXTENSION TO THE SUBMITTAL OF DEMONSTRATION SECTION OF THE LICENSE APPLICATION (TAC N0. L30905)

Dear Ms. Elliott:

l In accordance with your application dated September 18, 1996, and pursuant to Part 70 to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Materials License i SNM-1168 is hereby amended to grant a one-time extension from the requirements of License Condition S-4 with respect to the submittal date of your revised Demonstration Section of your license application. Accordingly, Safety Condition S-1 is revised to include the date of September 18, 1996, and Safety Condition S-10 is added to reflect the extension to read as follows:

Condition S-10: Notwithstanding the requirements of License Condition S-4, the licensee may delay until November 30, 1996, the submittal of its revised Demonstration Section.

All other conditions of this license remain the same.

Enclosed are copies of the revised Materials License SNM-1168 and the Safety Evaluation Report, which includes the Categorical Exclusion determination.
