Attached are recommendations submitted by Rcn MEEKS for Allegation Review Boarcs in the regions to follow in determining the prioritization for the use of OI's limited resources. Presently, to our knowledge, there is not a !
standard procedure used in all the regions. It is obviously a procedure that shot.ld be worked out jointly by 01 and the regions. The first step in standardizing tne procedure is to conduct a survey of the policies and precedures in the five regions. From what we knoe, the Allegation Review Board process is very formal in some regions and held every week on a specific day. In others, it is informal and held whenever there are allegations to be acted upon. Secondly, the membership of the Allegation Review Board should always include a member of 01. We recommend, because of 01's limited resources, this procedure be given priority at 01:HQ in its preparation cf policies and precedures.
