NPF-38-180 Gentlemen:
By letter dated July 25,1996, Waterford 3 proposed a change to Technical Specification 3/4.7.4 Ultimate Heat Sink (UHS). The proposed change in part modified LCO 3.7.4 by removing descriptive information associated with the UHS. Based on discussions with the staff, Waterford 3 proposes to modify that portion of the proposed change such that the wording of TS 3.7.4 will continue to define the major components of the Ultimate Heat Sink. Attachment A of thS submittal provides a replacement page to supplement letter dated July 25,1996.
This change is purely administrative and in no way affects the previe:isly provided no significant hazards evaluation.
