Inspection Nos. 50-317/85-27 and 50-318/85-25
A radiological safety inspection of upcoming outage activities was conducted by
Mr. P. Clemons of this office on September 23 - 26, 1985, at Lusby, Maryland,
of activities authorized by NRC License Nos. DPR-53 and DPR-69.
Areas that were reviewed included control room habitability, preplanning and
preparation, training, contractor qualification, procedures, outstanding items, and
a spent fuel shipment.
Our review of the outage preparation indicated the comprehensive efforts that
your staff has devoted to preplanning and dose reduction considerations.

Our inspector also verified the steps you have taken to correct the follow-up
items brought to your attention in the enclosure to our letter dated January
-
29, 1985. We have no further questions regarding your actions at this time.
No violations were identified.
