Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Units 1 and 2 On August 28, 1985 you submitted two supplemental responses (NLS-85-276 and NLS-85-309) to your November 7, 1983 response to Generic Letter 83-28.
This was in response to our letter dated July 1,1983 which transmitted our Interim Safety Evaluation, which found Items 3.1.1 and 4.5.1 acceptable, and our Request for Additional Information regarding Items 3.1.2, 3.2.1 and 3.2.2.
We have completed our review of your supplemental responses (NLS-85-276 and l
309) dated August 28, 1985 to Generic Letter 83-28. Your supplemental responses were evaluated for compliance to the staff's positions delineated in Generic Letter 83-28 for Action Items 3.1.2 and 3.2.1 and were found to i
be acceptable and meet the intent of Generic Letter 83-28.
Item 3.2.2 will be handled separately. The enclosed Safety Evaluation provides an evaluation of your responses.
