Mr. Robert Dube Dear Sirst The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the Analytical Services that have been provided by Mallinckrodt, Inc. for Combustion Engineering Corporation at Hematite, Missouri have now ceased to exist. These

services were provided under contrset which expired June 30, 1976. Com-bustion Engineering has no ftirther need of Mallinckrodt's services and do not care to renew the contract. The spectrographic analysis that Mallinckrodt has provided is now being performed at their facility at Windsor, Canada to the best of our knowledge.
Mallinckrodt hereby requests the cancellation of License SNM-276, first issued January 26, 1959 and effective January 1, 1959 and amended in September 1974. Mallinckrodt's Identification Symbol is ZMC. Combustion Engineering's Identification Symbol is ZEF and their license number is SNM-33.
All of Combustion Engineering's material has been returned to them and the necessary forms showing the transfer of this material have been sent through by the regular method to Oak Ridge. Please advise if any other action is required, as we wish to be in full compliance of the law and regulations. Hallinckrodt's authorizing official - Mr. Edward D. Adams, is on vacation and I am acting for him in his absence. Our facility was last inspected by Mr. W.B. Grant on November 14, 1975.
