Our Application Dated June 29, 1959 March 7, 1961 Telephone Conversation with Mr. John Lane

Dear Mr. Delaney:

This is to advise you that on or about April 15, 1961, we plan to increase the height of the pellet package described in the referenced application from 15 inches to 16-1/2 inches.

The package, containers and procedures described in our application of June 29, 1959, will not be changed in any other way with the exception that for some shipments the pellets will be loaded into thin wall butyrate tubing prior to rolling them up in the open faced corrugated box board described in the referenced application.

The solid angle f or the new 16-1/2 inch high package in the array shown in the referenced application is 2.146 steradians.

This was calculated in accordance with Appendix 3 of the Fifth Revision of K-1019 Since the solid gle computed in the referenced application is higher (2.52 storadians), lengthening the package is a modification within the scope of the existing license and does not require an amendment to the license.

This is also the conclusion arrived at in the referenced conversation with Mr. Lane.
