Mr. Lou Swallow and I are planning to be in 4ashington at the AEC on Thursday, :;ovember 5. We would very mu-h like to arrange to talk to you, Joe Delaney, Charlie Luke, and Charlie h:cCallum. I would expect that we would arrive about mid-morning.
As you may know, since the last visit Fred Behnore and I made we have sent three of our technical people to the Oak Ridge Criticality Scnool and are now making use of this increased understanding of criticality I think this problems in the sulnission of future license applications.

Lou Swallow, who will be with me, was one of the three engineers who attended the conference and I'll be most anxious for him to be present when we discuss the philosophy in your division of what constitutes adequate safety from a criticality standpoint.
Charlie McCallum some time ago asked me for some data on styrofoam that we are considering for use in one of our shipping containers. You might mention to him that I have that and will bring the information along.
I appreciate the activity that there is in Washington next week and realize that this might not be a convenient time for the members of your staff.
In the event it is not, please don't hesitate to call us collect on Monday.
