Dear Mr. Johnson:
This ccennication is a request for expansion of otu-Special Nue: lear Materials License No. SNM-33 to include the preparation of UO#, and U0a(N0a)s.
i he equipraent to be used is described fully in our letter of 21 January 1957.
i The equipment so described has been used repeatedly for the paparation of en-riched umnyl sulfate. The procedure proposed for the preparation of UOnFa i

Enriched IFe will be p ocessed in our approved facility to prepare " limited safe" batches of UO.
