Extension of SNM 33 to Include a New Storage Facility, Dated April 16, 1960
REFERENCE:
Our letter of June 15, 1960 and Telephone Conversation of June 20, 1960 Gentlemen:
In the referenced conversation of June 20, 1960 you asked se.teral questions about the gamma alarm we are installing in the new warehouse.
In as much as the unit being installed is identical to existing units described in W. M. Leaders' letter of January 22, 1959 to Mr. Lyall Johnson, the fail safe features and response time will be the same as described in Mr. Zeitlin's letter of July 24, 1959 to Mr. Johnson.
Since this new unit will be connected into the existing system, the maintenance and testing of this unit will be incorporated into the procedures outlined in the referenced letter of July 24, 1959.
This new unit will be in operation by July 25, 1960.
We have no provision for emergency power within our plant.
I believe this completes the information you needed in order to license this storage facility.
However, please do not hesitate to call collect if you require additional information since we are now proceeding with the purchase and installation of racks and the gamma alarm for the warehouse.
