Dear Mr. Johnson:
In connection with our recent application for approval of ship-ping containers, we were requested by your office to submit detailed calculations concerning the criticality consideration on these drums. Examination of the Public Document Room has failed to show that such a procedure has been followed in the past.
In order to expedite the application in question, a supplemental submission has been made giving the details of the calculations.
In order to clarify the situation for future applications, we would appreciate a specific definition of policy that the Division of Licensing and Regulation will follow in all civilian

applications in the future with regard primarily to the detailed calculations on criticality considerations that must be submitted with an application.
