This amendment

consists of changes to the Technical Specifications (TS) in response to your j
i application dated May 31, 1996.
The amendment revises the TSs to increase the' amount of trisodium phosphate (TSP) dodecahydrate located in the containment sump storage baskets. This i
amount will be verified by TS surveillance requirements. The test requirements for verifying the appropriate pH is maintained in the containment

sump water following a design-basis accident are moved from the TS i.
surveillance requirements to the TS Bases; however, the requirement to perform j
.the test remains in the TS surveillance requirements. The associated TS Bases are updated to reflect the changes.
