Opened an investigation, determined that the problem was one of poor communications between supervosor and the QC inspectors which has now been corrected. NOV being issued in Inspection Report 50-482/83-32.

An NCR (ISN 10594PW) was initiated but cancelled by site supervisors and the surveillance report was dispositioned as "no site approved procedure was violated"; and (3) three QC inspectors have been threathened by craft personnel, one man was fired after admitting the threats and no further threats have been made. Closed by IR 50-482/83-28 as being unsubstantiated or without technical merit.
