Dear Mr. McMeekin:
Thank you for your response of December 5.1996, to our Notice of Violation
issued on November 15, 1996, concerning activities conducted at your McGuire
facility. We have evaluated your response and found that it meets the
recuirements of 10 CFR 2.201.
Discussions between your staff and the NRC
incicate that additional actions are being taken to review the implementation
of scheduling and performance of surveillance requirements.
We will examine
the implementation of your corrective action during future inspections.
