Additional infomation needed to complete our review is identified in enclosure 1 of this letter.

For each JIO, provide information that states specifically whether or not the plant will have to be shut down in order to implement the action required to eliminate the JIO.

Identify any changes in schedule of the quclification completion dates identifiec in your letter of June 19, 1985 (RBG-21,331).

In your letter of July 19, 1985 your response to generic comments items 2 and 4 address only the specific examples, not the generic concerns as discussed in enclosure 2.
GSU should review their environmental qualification program and provide assurance that these concerns do not apply to other components covered by the environmental qualification prograu.

In enclosure 2 the discussion on the Linitorque Valve Actuator (SRN-2ibE12-1) states that GSU should notify the staff that the grease i
2 relief valves in thcsc velve actuators are installed correctly. GSU l
should provide that confirmation.
- 5. includes specific comments on the ASCO Solenoid Valve concerr.ing installation instructions. Your letter of June 19, 1985 did not provide the verification of proper installation as requested in the audit findings. GSU should provide that verification.
