SUMMARY
MONTil: October,1996 McGuire Unit I began the month of October operating at 100% full power. The unit operated at or near 100% full power until 10/30/96 at 2100 when the unit began decreasing power when the vital battery bank was declared inoperable due to failed discharge test (not enough replacement battery cells onsite).1he unit was removed from service on 10/31/96 at 0427 and remained in the outage the remainder of the month.

SUMMARY
