In view of the' confusion which continues to surround this issue, I think we should ask Vic Stello~to provide a one-word, "yes" or "no",
answer to the following question:
"In your, opinion, did GPU on the first day of the TMI accident knowingly pl'ay down the seriousness of the accident in.its dealings with the Commonwealth of
- 4ennsylvania, in spite of the substantial evidence in its possession that the accident was serious?"

He is stationed in the Harrisburg area.

The two reports - Haynes and Moseley, are generally consistent. The Moseley report is closer to the Udall report's position than is the s
Haynes r.eport. The bottom line on the Haynes report is that while we did not receive complete information from TMI Met Ed, we did receive sufficient information within the Commission that we should have known the state of conditions in the TMI accident.
