This was caused by closure of the turbine governor and intercept valves due to spuribus actuation of a limit switch on a main steam isola-tion valve. The limit switch on the main steam isolation valve has been replaced.

SUMMARY
OF OPERATIONS MARCH, 1985 l
During the month of March, there was one (1) automatic shutdown which occurred on March 13, 1985.
The following major safety-related maintenance was performed in the month of March:
1.
Performed miscellaneous corrective and preventive maintenance on diesel generators.
2.
Replaced the turbine trip limit switch on main steam isolation valve 3370A. Spurious actuation of this limit switch led to the reactor trip which occurred on March 13, 1985.
