NRC Construction Team Inspection at Seabrook Nuclear

~ Generating Station This letter is to confirm NRC Region I intent to conduct a Construction Team Inspection at Seabrook Nuclear Generating Station during the weeks of June 3 and June 10, 1985. This inspection will focus on construction management and resumption of construction activities under the new organization and will in-clude reviews of safety related Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems as well as Management and

Quality Assurance Systems. The results of the Seabrook Station Probabilistic Safety Analysis will be one of the bases for subsystems and components selec-tions. You are requested to assign principal licensee contacts for each of the inspection areas.

The Team will consist of:

Dr. P. K. Eapen, Team Leader A. C. Cerne, Assistant Team Leader A. E. ' Finkel, Lead Reactor Engineer K. Manoly, Lead Reactor Engineer S. D. Reynolds, Lead Reactor Engineer L. S. Cheung, Reactor Engineer J. M. Grant, Reactor Engineer An entrance meeting will be held at 3 p.m. on June 3,1985 to discuss the scope of the in,spection and an exit meeting will be held at 11 a.m. on June 14, 1985 to discuss the findings of the inspection. Additionally, your staff will be informed of any significant findings on a daily basis to facilitate resolution or prompt corrective actions.
