This transmits the May 6 - June 17, 1985, resident inspection findings by Messrs.
T. Foley and D. Trimble at the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant, Lusby, Maryland.
Those findings were based on observation of activities, interviews, independent
measurements, and document reviews, and have been discussed with Mr. Denton of
your staff.
An apparent violation of NRC requirements is cited in Appendix A and categorized
under the revised NRC Enforcement Policy, 10 CFR 2 Appendix C (47 FR 9987, March
8, 1984).
A reply is required in accordance with Appendix A.
The requirement that
you reply is exeropt from clearance by the Office of Management and Budget under
the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, PL 96-511.
