SAFETY EVA!UATION RELATING TO A DETAILED CONTROL ROOM DESIGN REVIEW COMMITMENT (TAC NO. M85266) 7 The staff has evaluated the December 23,-1992, request by GPU Nuclear Corporation (GPUN) for Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station (0yster Creek) to revise a Detailed Control Room Design Review (DCRDR) commitment.
Staff evaluation results are contained in the enclosed Safety Evaluation.
The staff concludes that GPUN has provided sufficient justification for cancelling the commitment on five Oyster Creek control room human engineering discrepancies (Hos. 6-7, 6-8, 6-9, 6-12, and 6-13) regarding the relocation of the shift supervisor's office. The staff finds the licensee's justification acceptable and considers this matter closed.
