TRAINING FOR REGION IV INSPECTORS Gentlemen:
This refers to your_ April 11, 1985, letter requesting our comments on your proposed abbreviated training program for Region IV inspectors. We reviewed your course outline and our comments are provided in Attachment I concerning:
(1) areas that should be included in the abbreviated traini.ng, and (2) areas that could be deleted based on the NRC training program for Region IV personnel.
We have also included our. estimates of the amount of time that could be devoted to a particular area.
