RE: RE: ABWR DC Renewal Supplemental FSER Chapter 22 Fukushima Recommendations Prop review and fact check Date: Tuesday, April 28, 2020 10:13:00 AM

Skip, I have confirmed that all the FSER Chapters/Sections have been Prop reviewed and are now ready to be made public on the Web-site. Once I have updated the concurrence sheets in ADAMS I will have the FSERs declared and made public and posted on the Web-site. I will be developing standard appendices for the supplement 2 FSER to NUREG-1503 and the supplemental FSER will be referenced in the Rule making FRN. I will keep you posted on the status of our rulemaking activities.

Thanks!!

EXT: ABWR DC Renewal Supplemental FSER Chapter 22 Fukushima Recommendations Prop review and fact check

Skip, In preparation for completion of the ABWR DC renewal rule, I have attached a courtesy copy of the NUREG 1503 supplemental Final Safety Evaluation Report (FSER) for Chapter 22 Fukushima Recommendations.

The staff concludes that the enclosed supplemental FSER section does not contain any information for which exemption from public disclosure has been sought or approved or any factual errors. However, the NRC will withhold the attached supplemental FSER from public disclosure to allow you the opportunity to verify the staffs conclusion that the supplemental FSER section contains no such exempt information or any factual errors.

The attached supplemental FSER is password protected and I had previously provided you the DC Renewal PSWD Convention for all supplemental FSERs. If you need to be reminded please call me on my cell number (609-220-0306).
