WITHDRAWAL OF REQUEST FOR TEMPORARY WAIVER OF COMPLIANCE CONCERNING EMERGENCY CORE COOLING COOLING SYSTEM (ECCS) ACTUATION AND INJECTION PERMISSIVE INSTRUMENTATION - BRUNSWICK STEAM ELECTRIC PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 (TAC NOS. M84684 AND M84685)
By letter dated October 7, 1992, Carolina Power &. Light Company (CP&L),
submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, a request for a temporary waiver of compliance (TWOC) concerning ECCS actuation and injection permissive instrumentation for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant, Units 1 and 2.
By letter dated October 28, 1992, CP&L requested a withdrawal of their TWOC request.
It is the staff's understanding that CP&L will resubmit a portion of the previous request as a proposed license amendment.
By this letter, the staff considers the above request to be withdrawn and no further action is cequired.
