Dear Mr. Gills:

This refers to our meeting in March 4,1982 during which you expressed concerns regarding a waste water storage tank that had been left in the ground, in your building, which was formerly occupied by Southern Space, Inc.

Our investigation regardng this matter has been completed and our findings are documented in the enclosed Summary of Investigation.

This concludes the Enforcement, and Investigation Staff's activities regarding this matter.

Also, as you know, additional soil samples were taken from the facility on June 2, 1982. Analysis of those samples indicated the soil was not contaminated beyond acceptable NRC limits.

We appreciate your informing us of your concerns and feel that our actions have been responsive to those concerns; however, should you have further questions regarding this matter, please contact me.

Please be assured that we will continue to conduct inspections to ensure that radiological safety procedures are
