INTERIM RELIABILITY EVALUATION PROGRAM (IREP) REPORT FOR CALVERT CLIFFS UNIT 1 We have completed our review of the report entitled " Interim Reliability Evaluation Program: Analysis of Calvert Cliffs Unit 1 Nuclear Power Plant,"
Sandia National Laboratories, in order to (1) prepared by our consultant, NUREG/CR-3511, August 1984. This. report was identify those accident sequences which can be expected to dominate the risk related to the operation of Calvert Cliffs Unit 1, and (2) develop system models that can be used for future, more extensive, probabilistic risk assessment of Calvert Cliffs Unit 1.
The enclosed Safety Evaluation reflects our review of NUREG/CR-3511 and your conenents which we received by your letter dated March 26, 1985.
In this regard, we thank you for your assistance in the preparation and review of the IREP study.
