Dear Mr. Keppler:
Reference (a) provided information concerning a deficiency reportable pursuant to 10 CFR 50.55(e) regarding deficiencies identified during the conduct of the Instrumentation Installation Reverification Program at our Braidwood Station.
The purpose of this letter is to provide an updated status of the corrective actions taken to resolve this issue.
This letter is considered to be an Interim Report.
Status of Corrective Action It was previously reported that Commonwealth Edison had anticipated completion of the Installation Reverification Program by March 31, 1985 with a final report to be submitted by May 1, 1985.
This reverification process has generated an unanticipated increased work load which has resulted in extending our expected completion date.
Currently, out of a total of 513 isometric drawings,185 have been completed through Phase II of the IRV Program.
All remaining production work with the exception of hanger installation and final QC slope verification, is expected to be complete by August 31, 1985.
Final Hanger installation and QC verification is expected to be complete by December 31, 1985.
A final report will be provided at that time.
