Gentlemen:
Subject: Combined Inspection 50-272/85-12, 50-311/85-13
This refers to the routine resident safety inspection by Mr. T. Kenny
and Mr. R. Borchardt, of this office, on May 7, 1985 - May 31, 1985, at
the Salem Nuclear Generating Station, Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey. The
inspection consisted of document reviews, interviews, and observation of
activities. The findings were discussed with Mr. J. M. Zupko, Jr. of
your staff.
"
Our inspector also verified implementation of the commitments you made
in your response dated June 7, 1984 to our letter of May 8, 1984. We
have no further questions regarding your action at this time.
Within the scope of this inspection, one licensee identified violation
was noted.
Because you have already taken corrective actions as delineated in
paragrah 11 no reply to this letter is required. Your cooperation with
us in this matter is appreciated.
