Inspection 50-320/85-10
Between April 11,1985 and May 17, 1985, Mr. R. Cook and other NRC
representatives conducted a routine safety inspection of activities authorized
by NRC License No. DPR-73 at your facility. The attached NRC Region I
Inspection Report describes the areas examined. The inspection consisted of
'
selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews
'
with personnel, and observations by the inspector. At the conclusion of the
j
inspection, Mr. Cook sunnarized the inspection findings with you and other
members of your staff.
'
Based on the results of this inspection, it appears that one of your
activities was not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements, as set
forth in the Notice Of Violation, enclosed herewith as Appendix A.
This
violation has been categorized by Severity Level in accordance with the NRC
l
Enforcement Policy (10 CFR 2, Appendix C) published in the Federal Register
(49 FR 8583), dated March 8, 1984. You are required to respond to this letter
.

and in preparing your response, you should follow the instructions in Appendix
A.
'
Sections of the enc 1osed inspection report contain details of your security
program that have been determined to be exempt from public disclosure in
accordance with 10 CFR 73.21 (Safeguards Information). Therefore,- the
sections so identified in the inspection report will not be placed in the NRC
Public Document Room and will receive limited distribution. The inspection
report cover sheet and any remaining portions of the inspection report will be
placed in the Public Document Room, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a).
We have also received your May 3,1985, letter concerning Inspection Report
50-320/85-01, and your April 4,1985 letter concerning Inspection Report
,

50-320/85-03. The actions described in these letters will be reviewed in
future NRC inspections.
