STATUS REPORT ON TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO OGC At the end of the last reporting period NRC filed the responding brief in connection with the ongoing litigation on the mill tailings regulations.
During the period since the last status report, the industry petitioners filed their reply briefs and oral argument was held. Prior to oral argument in November, WMUR scheduled mill tours for OGC and participated in a " moot court" session to assist OGC in preparing for possible questions from the Court. No fonnal action has been taken since oral argument. NRC is awaiting a ruling from the Court.
