The attachment to this letter provides an advance CPSES FSAR submittal to facilitate NRC Staff review of the subject area in support of licensing Unit 2.
The attachment is organized as follows:
1.
A description / justification of each change.
2.
A copy of the revised FSAR pages (changes are indicated in the margin by the word " draft".
The attached material is scheduled to be incorporated in CPSES FSAR Amendment 87 which is currently scheduled for December 18, 1992.

See Sheet No(s) :14 Identifies thermal relief. valves (CC 0611 & CC-0618) on the reactor coolant drain tank and excess letdown heat exchanger as active valves.
These valves provide thermal relief protection for containment penetrations MV-3 and HV 4.
Addition DBD-HE-229, Section 5.4.6 takes credit for the thermal relief valves on the reactor coolant drain tank and excess letdown heat exchangers (CC-0611 & CC-0618) to provide thermal relief protection for containment penetrations.HV-3 and MV-4; therefore, these valves must be considered active.
