STATUS OF AGREEMENT STATE REGULATIONS This chart is a status of final Agreement State regulations that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has reviewed as of August 25, 2020. Under the Integrated Material Performance Evaluation Program (IMPEP), a finding that Agreement State regulations meet the compatibility and health and safety categories of the equivalent NRC regulation may only be made based on a review of the final Agreement State regulations. A determination of whether overdue rules affect an Agreement States ability to protect health and safety, and compatibility is made during the States IMPEP review. Note this chart does not reflect final regulations that may have outstanding NRC comments that will need to be resolved.
