REACTOR COOLANT SYSTEM OVERPRESSURE PROTECTION LIMITING CONDITION FOR OPERATION 3.4.12 Low temperature overpressure protection (LTOP) shall be OPERABLE with each SIT isolated *, ands a.

Two LTOP relief valves with a lift setting of $430 psig, or b.

The Reactor Coolant System depressurized with an RCS vent path 26.38 square inches, SIT isolation is only required when SIT pressure is greater than or equal to RCS pressure.

i APPLICABILITY: MODE 4 with TC 522 0'F, MODE 5, MODE 6 with reactor vessel head in place.

ACTION:

I a.

With one LTOP relief valve inoperable in MODE 4, restore the inoperable valve to OPERABLE status within 7 days or depressurize and vent the RCS through a 26.38 square inch vent path within the next 8 hours9.259259e-5 days
0.00222 hours
1.322751e-5 weeks
3.044e-6 months
.

b.

With one LTOP relief valve inoperable in MODE 5 or 6, either (1) restore the inoperable relief valve to OPERABLE status within 24 hours2.777778e-4 days
0.00667 hours
3.968254e-5 weeks
9.132e-6 months
, or (2) complete depressurization and venting of the RCS through a 26.38 square inch vent path within a total of 32 hours3.703704e-4 days
0.00889 hours
5.291005e-5 weeks
1.2176e-5 months
.

c.

d.

With a SIT not isolated, isolate the affected SIT within 1 hour1.157407e-5 days
2.777778e-4 hours
1.653439e-6 weeks
3.805e-7 months
.

If required action is not met, either:

(1) Depressurize the SIT to less than the RCS pressure within 12 hours1.388889e-4 days
0.00333 hours
1.984127e-5 weeks
4.566e-6 months
, or (2) Increase cold leg temperature to greater than or equal to 220"F within 12 hours1.388889e-4 days
0.00333 hours
1.984127e-5 weeks
4.566e-6 months
.
