DPR-71 & DPR-62 SUPPLEMENT TO REQUEST FOR LICENSE AMENDMENT MISCELLANEOUS TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION REVISIONS
Dear Mr. Vassallo:
Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L) requested a license amendment regarding miscellaneous Technical Specification (TS) revisions in a letter dated September 7,1982.
During recent conference calls with members of your staff, CP&L agreed to revise the footnote pertaining to surveillance requirement 4.6.1.1.a. Our original request excluded from the requirements of 4.6.1.1.a those valves, blind flanges, and deactivated automatic valves which are located inside the containment or high radiation areas. The revised (3) the TIP Room, and (4)gh radiation areas as (1) the MSIV Pit, (2) the RWCU Room, footnote identifies the hi above the drywell head. In addition, the wording of the GE BWR/4 Standard Technical Specification regarding de-inerted containment atmosphere was adopted and reference to Specification 3.6.2.2 was changed to 3.6.2.1 in Specification 4.6.1.1.c.
