NINE MILE POINT - UNIT 2 DOCKET NO. 50-410 Interim Report for a Problem Concerning Material Supplied by Northern Steel Corporation (55(e)-85-10)
Description of the Problem:
An audit of Northern Steel Corporation indicated that some of the material supplied to Nine Mile Point - Unit 2 was purchased by Northern Steel from suppliers who did not have a Quality Assurance Program meeting the applicable requirements of 10CFR50, Appendix B.
These suppliers were Ernst Steel Company of Buffalo, New York, and Alliance Fastner Company of Syracuse, New York.
A list of affected materf al/ components was supplied by Northern Steel Company and is documented in Nonconformance and Disposition Report Nos. 2118 and Z119 The matter is still under investigation and a final report will be submitted by June 30, 1985 1
